HOW TO PROPERLY CARE FOR AND WASH CLOTHES, GLOVES AND ACCESSORIES?

Always follow the graphic symbols on the sewn-in treatment label. These indicate the maintenance conditions that are recommended to preserve the longevity and functionality of the product. The products can be machine washed at the temperature indicated on the product label. Do not use fabric softeners or bleach on functional products, and do not soak products in washing solution before washing. For materials containing a membrane (softshell, 4flex membrane) we recommend using special detergents designed for these materials (now commonly available in drugstores). If sweating occurs during exertion, we recommend rinsing the product in clean water as soon as possible after use to protect the colour from the long-term effects of aggressive sweat. This bath is not a substitute for washing and the recommended treatment, it only contributes to the long-term colour fastness. If deodorizers are used, they can adversely affect colour fastness.

When machine washing, anything that could mechanically damage the material should be removed or secured. Therefore, beware of forgotten items in pockets or other items washed at the same time. Zippers, shorteners or plastic appliqués can damage the material. It is recommended to wash with the reverse side up and to set the washing speed to low (to avoid colour pressing). After washing, remove the garment immediately and start drying (do not wring products with a membrane to avoid damaging the membrane). Products in a combination of contrasting colours must be thoroughly drained after hand and machine washing to avoid prolonged drying time and wet colour bleeding. The goods are not pre-washed - colour bleeding is possible, after one or two washes the colours stabilise. Do not leave wet garments unnecessarily long folded in a backpack or elsewhere. Dry inside out and never in direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry unless otherwise stated.

Knitwear is prone to snagging of fibres. Knits and fabrics made from synthetic fibres are also known to be more prone to wrinkling (e.g. PA, PP, PES, etc.). When using the product, avoid abrasions (e.g. on metal and Velcro fasteners, backpacks, handbags, jewellery, etc.) as well as leaning against rough objects (e.g. tree bark, plaster, etc.). Tearing and abrasion is mechanical damage and cannot be accepted for claim.

HAND WASHING OF MATERIALS

For both hand washing and materials containing a membrane (softshell, 4flex membrane), we recommend using special liquid detergents designed for these materials.

When using washing powder, a perfect dissolution of the detergent is never guaranteed. A poorly prepared wash bath can cause the quality of the material or the colour of the fabric to be compromised.

Remove the garment immediately after washing and start drying (do not wring products with a membrane to avoid damaging the membrane - e.g. for gloves, squeeze excess water from the fingertips to the wrist).

USE OF FABRIC SOFTENER

The fabric softeners form a film on the individual fibres and thus interfere with the function of the material (water-repellent treatment of the fabric, reduction of the capillary performance of the fibres, hindering the antibacterial function).

Avivage must not be used on products with the function of impermeability, breathability and wind resistance, i.e. on technical materials.

A CLAIM CANNOT BE MADE

In case:

The change in the characteristics of the textile goods is due to wear and tear or improper use, storage, improper intervention or mechanical damage.

The change in the characteristics of the textile goods is due to failure to carry out the necessary maintenance or to improper maintenance.

The claim relates to a defect for which a lower price was agreed.

The textile goods are completely worn out within their use value.
